Our Commitment to be LOCAL

Colorado Threads Local Hiring and Supplier Sourcing Policy
Commitment to Local Hiring Practices: Colorado Threads is committed to preserving locally focused hiring practices regardless of company growth or scale. This commitment is embedded in our business model through a Colorado-first approach to hiring, ensuring that as we expand, we continue to prioritize local talent and support the regional economy through sustainable employment practices.
Outsourcing of Staffing Services: Colorado Threads does not outsource staffing services that are essential to the delivery of our products and services to external organizations or individuals. All core business functions are performed in-house to maintain quality control and uphold our commitment to local employment.
Independent Contractors Policy: Colorado Threads engages independent contractors on a time-bound basis and ensures that they either:
-
Are free to split their time with work for other clients, or
-
Have been offered employment opportunities with us where applicable.
Contractors are not engaged for more than 20 hours per week over an indefinite period or for longer than six months without reassessment of their role.
Definition of Local Community: Colorado Threads defines its local community as the Denver metropolitan area and surrounding regions in Colorado. Our hiring, supply chain, and community engagement efforts prioritize individuals and businesses within this geographical area to maximize positive economic and social impact.
Supplier Preference and Sourcing Policy: Colorado Threads is a community-based business focused on serving our local economy by sourcing materials and partnering with vendors that align with our values of sustainability and ethical production. Our business model is designed to create specific benefits, such as local economic development, ethical supply chains, and community engagement for stakeholders, including charitable partners and our broader local community.
Our commitment to local sourcing includes:

-
Working with diverse suppliers to promote economic inclusivity within our supply chain.
